Leafs Look Ahead To Canadiens

The Maple Leafs returned to practice Tuesday at Air Canada Centre ahead of Wednesday’s game against Montreal in the first of a back-to-back with the Leafs visiting the Islanders on Thursday.

Randy Carlyle told the media following practice that Colton Orr should be able to return to the lineup against the Canadiens.

Carlyle also had some injury updates on Mike Brown who left the win over Philadelphia and did skate today but had to leave practice as he is still suffering from a lower body injury.  The news on Matt Frattin and James Reimer ...

Reimer Takes Part In Practice Friday

The Maple Leafs continued to receive positive news on the injury front Friday. Goalie James Reimer was on the ice for the third straight day taking part in his first full practice since his knee injury on February 11th against Philadelphia.

There is still no timetable for his return to game action but Reimer will travel with the team on the two-game raod trip this weekend.

Joffrey Lupul skated prior to practice as he works his way back from his forearm injury.

Drew MacIntyre has backed up dozens of goalies. Many weren’t as well known as the netminders listed above.

At 29, the Charlottetown native is on his 13th pro team in just nine years. Lucky number 13 is the Toronto Marlies for whom MacIntyre has surrendered just two goals over as many games.
