The Maple Leafs returned to practice Monday as they prepared for a busy week as they host San Jose and Dallas before finishing the weekend with back-to-back games Saturday in Ottawa and home to Boston on Sunday.
Joffrey Lupul skated prior to practice as he makes his way back from a groin injury. He didn’t join the rest of the team for practice as he is expected to be out of the lineup a little while longer.
After missing Saturday’s game in Montreal, Cody Franon was held off the ice as a precaution with a lower body injury but he is expected to be available to play against the Sharks. Jay McClement also didn’t take part in practice but he too should be good to go for tomorrow’s game.
