The Maple Leafs held their final practice in Toronto on Monday before Tuesday’s season opener against the Canadiens in Montreal.
After making several roster moves on Sunday, the Leafs were on the ice at the ACC today and here is how the forward lines and defence pairings looked. David Clarkson will continue to practice with the team but he will begin serving his 10-game suspension tomorrow night for leaving the bench to join an altercation against the Buffalo Sabres on September 22nd. He is eligible to return to the lineup on October 25th.
It is expected that the Leafs will recall a forward prior to Tuesday’s game as head coach Randy Carlyle wants to dress 12 forwards and six defencemen.
