The Leafs practiced at Walter Brown Arena on the campus of Boston University Thursday afternoon as they look ahead to Game 2.
Toronto was without Phil Kessel, Cody Franson and Mike Kostka at practice. Following the skate, head coach Randy Carlyle told the media that Kostka has a fractured finger, Franson a bruised foot and Kessel was given a maintenance day.
Carlyle was asked about possible lineup adjustments and said that he plans on making changes to the forward group who played in Game 1 while also noting that there will be at least one maybe both Ryan O’Byrne or Jake Gardiner in the lineup on defence.
Here is how the Leafs forwards lined up
The Leafs had six defencemen on the ice but the pairings changed from drill-to-drill.
