The tough season for Nikolai Kulemin continued Thursday when it was announced that he will be out for three weeks with a broken finger suffered in the loss Tuesday against Florida. Kulemin joins Mike Brown and Joffrey Lupul on the injured list.
This season has been the worst of Kulemin’s career as he has recorded just seven goals and 28 points one year after being a 30-goal scorer. Prior to his injury, Kulemin had recorded three points in the last 10 games.
With the injuries to Kulemin and Lupul the Leafs top two lines have been shuffled with Clarke MacArthur joining Tyler Bozak and Phil Kessel. Carter Ashton and Matt Frattin will be on a line with Mikhail Grabovski.
