Maple Leafs forwards Nik Kulemin (Russia), Phil Kessel (USA) and James van Riemsdyk (USA) will represent their respective countries at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

Kulemin was named to Russia’s team on Tuesday while Kessel and JVR were announced to the USA team following the Winter Classic last Wednesday.

Kessel had a goal and an assist in six games as a member of the silver-medal-winning U.S. team at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. This will be van Riemsdyk’s first Olympic experience.

Playing for the host Russians will be Kulemin’s first time playing in the Olympics although he has represented Russia on numerous occasions at the World Hockey Championships.
