Fraser Ready For Action

Maple Leafs defenceman Mark Fraser deemed himself ready to go following Wednesday’s practice at MasetCard Centre.

Fraser is hopeful to play against his former team, the New Jersey Devils Friday at the ACC. He has been out of the lineup since October 2nd against Philadelphia with a knee injury.

The Ottawa native¬†has been skating and practicing with the team but wasn’t quite ready for action during the recent three-game Western Canada road trip.

It will now be up to head coach Randy Carlyle to decide when Fraser returns to the lineup and who comes out.

With the absence of Tyler Bozak and Dave Bolland due to injury, James van Riemsdyk was once again at centre for practice with Phil Kessel and Joffrey Lupul. Here is how the lineup looked.
