Franson, Kessel Practice Ahead Of Game Two

The Leafs welcomed Phil Kessel and Cody Franson back to practice a day head of Game 2 in Boston (7pm CBC, Sportsnet FAN590).

Both missed practice Thursday but are good to go Saturday.

Franson spoke with the media and said “I’m fine and ready to go tomorrow.”

Here is how the Leafs lines looked:

Lupul-Bozak-Kessel
van Riemsdyk-Grabovski-Kulemin
Komarov-Kadri-Hamilton
MacArthur-McClement-Orr
Frattin-Colborne-McLaren

It also appears that Jake Gardiner will draw back in the line up as he practiced on the second power play unit with John-Michael Liles. The Leafs first pair on defence on the power play was Dion Phaneuf and Cody Franson.

Toronto Marlies goalie Drew MacIntyre was recalled on an emergency basis as Ben Scrivens was away from the team but is expected to join the Leafs in Boston for Game 2 on Saturday.

Chek out the practice video with Carlyle, MacIntyre, Bozak and Gardiner
