Although the final result wasn’t what the players wanted, Matt Finn and Antoine Bibeau’s solid play at the 2014 Memorial Cup was recognized by the NHL’s Central Scouting.
Bibeau was named the Outstanding Goalie of the 2014 Memorial Cup. The 20-year-old made 178 saves in four games and finished the tournament with a 2.76 GAA and .932 save percentage. He was also named to the tournament All-Star team.
While Finn and the Storm were upset in the final on Sunday by Edmonton, the Etobicoke native was voted to the tournament All-Star team. Finn had four assists and was a +5 in four games.
