Leafs prospect Morgan Rielly continued to show his great poise and decision making as the 2012 first round pick was held off the scoresheet but was plus 1 on the day. He has three points (one was taken away) to sit tied for first in the tournament among defencemen in scoring with a plus four rating.
The other Leafs prospect in action Sunday was USA forward Tyler Biggs who picked up a penalty and had two shots with an even rating in the loss. Biggs is being depolyed as a checker and seeing lots of time on the penalty kill something that he doesn’t do often with the Oshawa Generals.
