Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Connor Brown is the Erie Otters finalist for the Most Outstanding Player of the Year. The award is voted on by sports writers and broadcasters in the OHL.
Brown was selected by the Leasf in the sixth round (156th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He led the Canadian Hockey League in scoring this past season with 128 points on 45 goals and 83 assists.

Earlier this season, the Leafs signed Brown to a three-year entry level contract. Brown and the Otters have advanced to the second round of the OHL playoffs where they will face the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. In the first round series win over Saginaw, Brown recorded eight points (two goals, six assists) in five games.
