The 2012 NHL All-Star weekend game to an end Sunday when Team Chara defeated Team Alfredsson 12-9. Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul scored two goals, while Phil Kessel also scored in the game.
I walked around the outside of the arena Sunday and At the front entrance to the Scotiabank Place there is a huge NHL All-Star banner and Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf is one of the players featured. Have a look here.
I was able to take a picture of the ice which looked pristine a few hours before gametime. I also stood in the zamboni entrance and shot the below video.
When in Toronto, the Leafs have some pretty intense games of ping pong. Check out these two photos one of Phil Kessel and the other is of Phaneuf vs. Daniel Alfredsson (not sure who won but I think Phaneuf did) playing ping pong before warm up. Below is a quick vid of the ping pong table.
